Ceramics

Carolyne has been working with jewellery for over 25 years and has a silver smithing background. 
Designing and manufacturing all ceramic work & jewellery using her unique handmade and decorated ceramic beads, which are made within the same process as the ceramic work.

Hot Dot Designs offers firing facilities for students that have completed workshops with Hot Dot Designs

             Terracotta - which are hand painted, decorated, carved and glazed
             Coloured clay - which are individually mixed, ball-milled and glazed        
             Lustre fired pendants & beads 
- which have had multiple firings
             Dichroic Glass Pendants for individual handmade beads & pendants please shop on line 

All Ceramic beads & pendants are glaze fired to 1080 in an electric kiln (multiple firings)

A new range of High Fashion Jewellery for sale has been introduced and includes a selection of quality beads & semi-precious collected worldwide.
 In addition, intricate wires and patterns have been used in the designs.
 Jewellery & one off pieces are available from galleries and designer boutiques.


For images and information on Ceramic work please see page headings, as you can image not a lot of time is left in a busy work schedule to dedicate the labour intensive hours that are need to be dedicated to clay work.
 Full concentration  on  clay work is now done in the months of December –February to supply loyal Galleries that have supported Carolyne’s art work the main one being Mulgara Gallery at Uluru, where Carolyne has been invited many times in her career to participate in the Artist in Residency programme.
